This research analyzes the online habits of university students when they use open digital services. We evaluate the relationship between diet and the degree of usefulness and reliability of information on the Internet in terms of skill and self- defined behavior. The data, obtained through a survey of students in public universities of Madrid, show a typology of users with five levels, whose essential features are: a low level of trust and perceived usefulness of information of internet, a limited patterns of media use, and scarce and unbalanced use of digital repertories.
