For that reason, Phase 0 would correspond to the previous occupation of the place before the erection of the first monumental architectures. It is characterized by the presence of mesolithic industry and of the first ceramics, that mark the transition to societies of agricultural character around VI-V millenium b.C. During the V millenium b.C. (Phase 1) we see the creation of three possible lines of monumental wakes, stated in the archaeological excavations by the presence of holes of foundations and a wake integrated in the modern tomb.
On the other hand, Phase 2 would suppose the fall of these neolithic wakes. The archaeological data (lines of fracture, disposition of fragments of the Grand Menhir...) indicate an accidental and consecutive fall, that suggest the hypothesis of a earthquake. The holes that would have been empty fill up of sediment corresponding to occupations of the Castellic, whereas the conserved wakes were extracted to be reused in the construction of monuments of Table des Marchands or Er Grah.
Phase 3 corresponds to the erection of the tomb of Table des Marchands and his cairn.
Phase 4 comes defined by the ruin and destruction of the monument throughout end of IV millenium b.C. and principles of the III. In later phases the monument was visited during the Bronze Age, galoroman and modern centuries.
Finally, Phase 5 would correspond to the archaeological excavations that have been developed in the area from century XVIII.
