Statistical representation of the results obtained with the Sols-Ponz method of successive absorptions

Abstract
A guide is given for the concise and statistical expression of the experimental results obtained by the Sols and Ponz method of successive absorptions for the study of intestinal absorption. It is based on referring the experimentally pro- voked variations of absorption as percentages of increase or inhibition with respect to the normal absorption of each animal. The relation of the arithmetical, means of these differences to thehir respective errors allovts us to estimate the statistical significance of the results, according to the Student method.
