Action of a MAO inhibitor on coronary circulation

Abstract
We llave studied the action of Nyamide on the coronary flux and the oxidative metabolism of the heart, using two techniques which, though they are fundamentaly different, pennit us to know the flux of the left-hand heart. Although the nyalamide increases the coronary efficiency through the sliglit decrease which appears in qO2, this does not seem sufficient to explain its action mechanism on patients suffering from angina pectoris. On the otlier hand, the doses employed in the experimental preparations are greater than those used in therapeutic administration.
