From the outset, Re. Revista de Edificación has sought to promote and serve as a channel for the publication of university research focused on the field of construction.

It is dedicated to the dissemination of academic studies that form part of the area occupied by the constructive dimension of architecture. It seeks to fill a void left by 1) professional journals, which are primarily concerned with the compositional, visual, plastic and graphic aspects of architecture, and 2) construction journals, which have emerged thanks to an abundance of technical and commercial information.
