The percentage of positivity for each ofthe six serotypes ofthe Coxsackie B virus among individuals who live in different geographical, sanitary and social situations in order to determine if the different variables affect or not the dissemination of each type is studied.
We conclude that the füst five serotypes are dispersed with independence of the physical and biological factors ofthe four population groups studied; the spread of the sixth serotype depends on these factors in each ofthe thr!!e geographical areas studied (Pyrenees, Ribera and Pamplona). An identical degree of dispersion of the types B-3 and B-4 in each group is detected.
