Resumen
Alfred Loisy, una figura clave en la crisis modernista, ha tenido una gran influencia en las discusiones sobre la revelación, el milagro y la apologética. No obstante, en sus textos puede encontrarse también un tema menos comentado que es el argumento profético. El artículo introduce al contexto de esta discusión teológica y comenta los cambios en el pensamiento de Loisy sobre las profecías mesiánicas; desde su defensa de las posturas católicas contra el racionalismo, pasando por las polémicas respecto a la forma adecuada de la apologética, hasta las posiciones escépticas. Esto permitirá concluir preguntando si los problemas que Loisy abordó siguen siendo relevantes para la teología contemporánea.
