Números en clave femenina: aproximación desde los estudios visuales

Dentro del «silencio de género» característico de la Biblia, el libro de los Números, sin obviar su marcado androcentrismo, contiene un conjunto de pasajes con presencia femenina (María y la esposa cusita de Moisés, la muerte de María, las moabitas y la madianita Cozbí, la herencia de las hijas de Selofjad) que abordan cuestiones de interés sobre el liderazgo del pueblo de Israel, el férreo control patriarcal ejercido por la legislación hebrea, el genocidio femenino y el desigual tratamiento entre hombres y mujeres ante cuestiones como el pecado y la muerte. Este trabajo propone una aproximación desde los estudios visuales, en permanente diálogo con el relato bíblico, la exégesis y las líneas más recientes de investigación.
