La nueva situación en Afganistán como consecuencia de la salida de todas las tropas estadounidenses y efectivos de la OTAN, y el consiguiente establecimiento de un gobierno de facto talibán suscita un plural conjunto de cuestiones jurídico-internacionales. De entre tales cuestiones, este trabajo se centra en la presencia de la ONU a través de la Misión de asistencia de las Naciones Unidas para Afganistán (UNAMA), buscando dar respuesta a las preguntas de cómo ha incidido la llegada al poder de los talibanes en la labor de misión y cuál puede ser su futuro a corto y medio plazo.
