This article is divided in to two main parts: the first aims to familiarize the reader with the circumstances and historiographic characteristics that surround the birth and development of the so-called New Cultural History. In the second a series of proposals are made based on an analysis of the historiographic reality of the last years and the author's own reflection along with that of those trying to broaden the horizons of the new trends. These proposals are formulated from the adaptations of other objects from the past that historian has to make which are generally ignored by other professional historians and the new applications of these objects if the aim is to exercise a new form of historiographic practice.

RIGHTS TRANSFER
