Applications of polarography to diagnosis. IV. Modifications of the technic

Abstract
The polarographic method is applied to blood serums of patients suffering from cancer, tuberculosis and syphilis, directly and after 24 hours incubation with glutathione. This later modification permlts and facilítales observation of differences between thcse serums and those of normal individuáis.
By addition of glutathlone the polarographic curve of normal serums rises, while in syphilitic and most cancer patients It remains the same, diminishing in patients with active tuberculosis. The polarographic wuve without previous addition of glutathione is lower in syphilitic patiens than in normal ones, being higher in those suffering from cáncer.
