Contribution to the knowledge of the composition of bacterial protoplasm

Abstract

Many research have been performed on bacterial protoplasm composition. By means of chromatographic analysis, the aminoacids present have been separate and identified in theí€ following hydrolisated strains : Bacteriuvi. prodigiosus e aerogenes, Gaffkya telragena, Neisseria gonorrheae e calarrdlis, Proteus vidgaris, Pasteurella siiiseplica, bobisept-ica e cimiciaí€icida, Shigclla dysenteriac, Sarchia alba, Streptococcus viridans, Salmonella enteritidis. Equality of composition always resulted for theí€ different strains of theí€ germs taken into consideration.
