Action of human chorionic gonadotropins on the sexual organs of the impuberal male rat

Abstract
The effect of the HCG on the weight of the male rat accessory' reproductive organs of 4, 7, 10, 15, 18 and 21 days of age have been studied. The maximal response has been found at 15 days on seminal vesicles. Although the repeated administration of the hormone yields greater responses than the unique one, at 15 days a discriminative ca pacity between augmenting unique doses of HCG in everyone of the organs studied has been observed.
