Abstract

Measurement of Ureasic Activity of the Intact Tissue of the Citrullus vulgaris Cotyledons. Rev. esp. Fisiol., 30, 71-76. 1974.

The treatment of the intact tissue of the Citrullus vulgaris cotyledons with propilen- glycol and propanol-2 at the 1 % and 3 % respectively provokes an increase in the output of ureasic activity measurement. This increase is due to higher facility to the urea penetration in the intercellular spaces.
