Fluorophotometric method for lactoflavin assessment

Abstract
The theoretical foundations of the fluorophotometries with regard to the evaluation of materials containing lactoflavine are described. The technics followed for the drawing of graphic representations which allow an evaluation of Solutions containing lactoflavine, even though vitamin B1 be present, are detailed.
The influence of the pH in Solutions of lactoflavine is showed.
The lability of lactoflavine to sunlight is clearly demonstrated by evaluating Solutions during periods oi time from o to 80 hours.
Lastly, the values obtained by evaluating Solutions with different pH exposed to sunlight are given, and from them one deduces that lactoflavine is best kept in a pH 6-7.
