Nicotinic acid research blood

Abstract
The author has put into practice a method for the evaluation of the nicotinic acid in the blood, delicate but sensitive, in the course of which one obtains a colourless disproteinized of pH, adjusted in accordance with a modification of the Friedeman procedure, and the colour is then obtained by resorting to the well-known reaction of the cyanogen bromide and an aromatic amine, being this the orthoform, as Martineck and collaborators recomend. The reduction of the quantities of liquids evident ant perfectly appreciable to the naked eye. The evaluation is done photometrically.
