Abstract

The author describes a method for the evaluation of the sulphur in mineral-medicinal waters by means/ of iodometry, in which, instead of employing an iodine solutions as is ordinarily done and which has the inconvenience of instability, he recommends the use of a solution of iodate, which sets the iodine free in an acid medium, in an analogous way to how the titling of the thiosulphate is effected in the Hagedorn-Jensen method for evaluating the glucemie.
