Action of podophyllin on white blood cells

Abstract

The action of podophyllin on the number of leucocytes in the white rat has been studied. The intraperitoneal injection in total doses of 6-10 mg. distributed in periods of 40-75 days produces a constant reduction of the circulating leucocytes which may reach 50 % of the initial figures.
