Studies on the biochemistry of insects VI. Oligoelements in some coleoptera

Abstract
The oligoelements are determined on larvas and adults of the Doryphora decevdineata and on the adults of the Chrysoviella vianthastri and of the Colaspidema atruvi as well as on the leaves of the potato and alfalfa, feed of the first and last respectively, proving that Zn is the predomanat oligoelement on the three animal species studied and that it is not detected on vegetables. The values are specially high on the Doryphora adult. Ag is detected on all species at the sensibility limit, except on the leave of the potato where it appears in high quantity. Co is only detected on the Doryphora adults. Cr, Ni, Ti and V appear on all specimens except on the larvas of the Doryphora and the first and fourth on the leave of the alfalfa and Colaspidevia adult respectively. The values for Cu, Fe, Li y Mn are very similar on all the specimens, althoung higher to those of Fe. Mo values are low excepte on the Chrysoviella viethastri adults. The values of Si are high on all the specimens, except on the Doryphora larva. On these lower values for Pb are detected al so.
