Resumen

Este artículo describe las principales relaciones de amistad establecidas por John Henry Newman tanto durante los años del Movimiento de Oxford como en su vida como católico y oratoriano. Se trata de una aproximación prosopográfica al entorno personal de Newman en conexión con su afectividad y su decisión de permanecer célibe.
