Abstract

133
The General Conference of the Latin-American Episcopate in Medellín (1968) assumed continuity and not interruption, though in its time this could not be noticed. A reading of the reception of Medellín in the Columbian theological magazines makes one realize that the group in favor of continuity (continuity between Vatican II-Medellín-Puebla) was closer to the historical reality than the group of interruption, which proposed a solution of continuity between before and after Medellín. Medellín was not liberational in the radical sense of the term.
