Abstract

1394

This article analyzes the process for the issuance of sovereign bonds, as well as their main clauses and possible vicissitudes up to the international execution of condemnations for non-payment. The rich international practice illustrates and supports the pertinent reflections on the ambition of the States to finance themselves beyond their possibilities with the consequent risk of ceasing to exist in the international markets in the event of non-payment of their obligations.
