This article analyzes the numerous and varied territorial and maritime delimitation disputes existing in Central America, illustrated by a pertinent cartography. It shows how most of these conflicts have been settled by the peaceful means offered by international law. It is recognized, however, that recourse to armed force has also been used.

RIGHTS TRANSFER
