Abstract

The conflict in Yemen is nearing its 10th year. The UN has been constantly intervening in the conflict, but so far none of the mechanisms put in place has achieved its fundamental objective of stopping the conflict and putting an end to the impunity to which its civilian population is condemned. In the face of the greatest humanitarian crisis of this century, this study considers the work of the Organization and what the appropriate response might be.
