Abstract

122
This paper reviews the structure of the roman settlement in the Navarra Media, paying special attention to the roman presence in the city of Tafalla as it can be studied through vestiges and relations with other surrounding settlements and tracing a network of Roman roads, based upon details named above. In addition, we present three new epigraphic finds, one of the same Tafalla, another of Pueyo and the third of Olite. Finally, Tafalla will be placed within the old Vasconic settlements, and, according to literary, archaeological and epigraphical sources, proposed for an identification: the ancient Curnonion.
