Abstract

Liver alpha-GPD undergoes a dramatic increase in newborn rats treated with large doses of L-thyroxine, indicating the elevated exposure of peripheral tissues to the hormone.In contrast, brain enzyme remains unchanged in the two mitochondria populations, free and synaptic.
