A new method of purification of human follicle-stimulating hormone

Abstract

For the first time a completely pure extract of FSH, exempt of its usual contami­ nating agents;, luteinizing hormone and albumin, was obtained. The inactivation of the contaminating agents was done by immunological means. The authors speculate about the possibilities of this pure"preparation in the field of the basic Physiology of the Follicle Stimulating Hormone.
