Micromethod for the determination of total protein and albumin ratio globulins in 0.02 c. c. serum

Abstract
We propose a micromethod for determining proteins and the quotien of globulines albumines in only 0,02 cc. of serum. Its basis is the comparison of the turbidness produced by the successive precipitation of globulines and albumines by ammoniacal sulphate and chlorhydric acid, respectively, with suspensions of calcio oxalate of a determined concentration. It does not require more than 10 to 15 minutes and is sufficiently precise for clinical practice.
