Influence of insulin on secretion of the corphycotropic hormone

Abstract

We study the concentration of corticothrope hormone in blood by means of the Jores technique (suprakidney hypertrophie on the white mouse). After the insuline injection in variable and sufficient doses, in order to provocate the coma on three animals, finding in all cases an increase of Jores index. The increase of corticothrope hormone revelated by the increase of this index, is proportional to the diminition pf glucemie in some one cases and showing a great maintained index, although the glucemia reaches his own normal value, in some others.

We explained several considerations about the manner of orientate new investigations in this sense.
