Histaminemia in various situations of physiological vasoconstriction

Abstract
The elevation of histaminemia by physiological doses of intravenous adrenaline is confirmed.
Doses of sympatol capable of producing an elevation of the same intensity do not modify histaminemia. Neither is it altered by the short-time tweezing of the carotids.
The intracisternal injection of potassic phosphate in weak doses, which produces only a hypertension of the same intensity as the tweezing of the carotids, produces, on the other hand a marked elevation of histaminemia. This elevation is interpreted as due to hyperadrenalinemia produced in these conditions.
