Effect of alloxan on acid phosphatase

Abstract
The inhibition of hepatic acid phosphatase by alloxan in vitro has been examined. At concentration 0’01 M the inhibition was only about 20 %. Concentrations 0’05 M and lower are not effective. The alloxan inhibition on acid phosphatase is very lesser than that found on the alkaline one.
