Abstract

48
The case describe aboye is a woman, 59 years old, presenting clínical symptons of spastic tetraplegia and cerebellar disorders eaused by a hour-glass-like neurinoma, at level of second right anterior roo!. In spite of the fact that there are a lot of similar cases described in the literature we belive it is interesting to report our case beca use it shows, in a objetive neUfmoma manner, the cerebellar disorders caused by direel compression of vertebral artery and secondary insufficicncy al the posteroinferior cerebellar artery. The postoperative evolution has showed a complete recovery of neurological functions without statie disorders in the vertebral column.
