Abstract

54
If we consider in depth the ecclesiological framework in which the place and meaning proper to the liturgical assembly are situated we inevitably are led to reflect on the Church as such. To think liturgically about the assembly from the basis of the Church means considering the ways and forms in which the Church lives as a community of worship in order to situate this concrete expression which we call the liturgical assembly. The liturgical assembly is the sacramental form in action of the permanent event that sustains the Priestly people in action. The Qahalekklesia united on earth and in heaven grows, from one assembly to another, in the regime of symbols, until the «final congregation» is consummated. The structure of the liturgical assembly reflects the characteristics of the Church, its organic nature, its differentiation and its recognized presidency.
