Abstract

111
In the first part of Verbum Domini, we encounter important orientations to understand the concept of «inspiration» applied to the Sacred Scripture, yet recognizing the actual need of greater clarification. From the greater consciousness of the Trinitarian and historical horizon of the Revelation provoked by Dei Verbum, the value of the biblical word as Word of God that speaks is being expounded in the perspective of the Christian image of God and of the Word made flesh, and from the consideration of the Scripture as a very special part of the living Tradition of the Church.
