The articles in this second monographic issue dedicated to Descartes are another outcome of the research project - funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, [Reference PID2021-126133NB-I00] - entitled Ethics and Metaphysics of Affections. The Modern Genesis of the Present (EMAP). The following are Cartesian reinterpretations that emphasize the revision of certain topics attributed to the thinking of the father of modernity, who is more often mentioned than read and studied.
