Abstract

Independientemente de las distintas y aun diversas formulaciones conceptuales y teorías explicativas del fenómeno comunicativo, según autores, escuelas y ángulo de visión, y aun teniendo en cuenta la diferencia existente entre considerar la Comunicación y la Información como fenómenos coincidentes o como el todo y una parte, la verdad es que el ser humano viene comunicándose con sus semejantes y con su entorno en general desde su aparición sobre la tierra. Otra cosa es el posterior esfuerzo por desentrañar el contenido de ese fenómeno.
Una cosa es la comunicación como práctica habitual y otra la reflexión sobre el fenómeno mismo. Una cosa es ponerse en contacto con otro u otros, transmitir vivencias, sensaciones, opiniones, criterios, datos, noticias... y otra analizar cómo se hace, por qué se hace y las consecuencias de ese hacer.

RIGHTS TRANSFER
By submitting the article for evaluation and subsequent publication in Communicaton & Society, the AUTHOR grants exclusive economic and/or exploitation rights: reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation/translation/creation of derivative works, and commercialisation to the University of Navarra through its Publications Service, for the maximum legal period in force -the author's lifetime and seventy years after his or her death or declaration of death-, in any country, and in any of the current and future publishing modalities, both in print and electronic versions.
