Abstract

101
We bring to memory the history of the "Campos de Urnas" of Navarre, excavated around 1950, and the new discoveries made recently. The location of all of them, at a short distance from the river Ebro, makes it clear that this was most probably the only way of entry for the cultural innovations that took place during the protohistory. The route through the Pirinees does not show, up to now, any such evidence for a similar consideration.
