Factores asociados a la intención de abandonar los estudios superiores: la motivación y la resiliencia

Resumen

Para ahondar en la complejidad del abandono universitario, se analiza el impacto conjunto de la motivación y la resiliencia sobre la intención de transferencia y de abandono. Con una muestra de 477 estudiantes españoles se aplicaron pruebas t y modelos de regresión logística. Los resultados multivariantes indican que la motivación intrínseca y la amotivación explican el 44,4% de la intención de transferencia y la motivación intrínseca, la regulación externa y la amotivación, el 48,1% de la intención de abandono. Estos altos porcentajes sugieren que fomentar la motivación intrínseca y prevenir la amotivación son esenciales para reducir las tasas de abandono.
