One of Quevedo’s most known methaphors to describe husbands cheated by this wives is the referece to the ox. An ox to hunt can be found in the poem, number 641 of Blecua’s edition. This system of camouflage can be familiar to readers of La Celestina, but it is worth explaining it in Quevedo’s poetry.
