Satires against a New Spain eclesiastical government (1663)

This article examines a satirical masquerade that criticize the government of incumbents of the church of Guadalajara around 1663. Additionally, it looks into historical-political circumstances in the ecclesiastical administrations in the kingdom of Nueva Galicia that led to the creation of this verses.
