From the different senses of the term "anniversary" and from the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and of the 40th anniversary of the May of 1968, this article analyses which one of those senses must be applied to these events. The investigation concludes that both are included in the same historical dynamic process, where we are the main actors. Therefore is a double and unique anniversary, which, besides, is "our" anniversary.
