The Democratic purpose, despite its weaknesses, aims to respect human rights. A. de Toequeville warns against possible abuses of this project, which European societies, since 1968, are unfortunately customary. Toequeville, more than a century, could not imagine all the evolutions. But he painted a prophetic picture of many evils that he feared come true.
