Recovery of conditioned reflexes by the action of electroshock and other therapeutic measures

Abstract
A study is made of the action which insulin — electroshock — refrigeration and thyroxine exercise upon conditioned reflexes obtained in guinea-pigs and inhibited. In some cases a recuperation of the reflex responses is obtained. The presence of a state of vigilance is constant in the animal, caused. indiscutinctly by electroshock, insulin or refrigeration. Thyroxine intensifies the action of refrigeration.
