Evaluation of phenothiazine derivatives with isolated roots of Raphanus sativus

Abstract
A simple method is studied, which permits the determination of the medicaments R. P. 2987 Ií10.2 dimethylaminethyl-phenothiazin) and R. P. 3277 (10.2 dimethylaminisopropyl-phenothiazin) dissolved in water, plasma and blood The method is founded on the blucish green reaction developed in the root of Raphanus sativas, the peroxidasic ferments of which catalizing the oxidation of the mentioned producís by hydrogen peroxid.
The tensitiveness of reaction is determined, same being in water solution as well as in that of blood or plasma 0,00003 g. per c.c. (M/10.000) whilst the concentration of hydrogen peroxid is of 0,125 c.c. at 3 % in 10 c.c. of solution.
