On the central action of adrenaline (2nd communication)

Abstract
The central action of adrenaline in divers preparations is studied in dogs.
In normal animals the injection of adrenaline in the central and of te carotid artery (after denervation of its carotid sinus) produces with 5 y and 10 y of the drug a descent of blood pressure. With a doses of 25 or 30 y, there appears a first hypotensor effect followed by the typical rising of blood pressure. Hypotension seems due to the action exercised by adrenaline on the centre, on passing through the head before going to act on the organism.
In preparations with artificial circulation of the head, which isolated vasculary nevertheless conserves all nervous connections wit
