Abstract

86
Lope recreates the main archetypes of literature in his time: the prisoner, the shepherd, the pilgrim, the insane for love. Those figures remind us other similar mythical figures such as Leander or Icarus. But once the plot is solved, and after examining their conscience and released from deviant behaviours, all the characters abandon their disguise, even the renegade Rosardo, and decide to love properly.
