The basic ontological units on the level of meaning are the word and the sentence. The word is a symbol which is closely connected with the concept. The sentence could be considered as a complex symbolic unity that expresse not only communicative values but also adequate discourse tactis. The research has shown that the frame of the language categories has a multistage structre, which proves that they cannot be considered apart. Their deepest nature as instruments of the designation in a specific language could be reached only by assigning them to a concrete stage within the joint configuration of the meaning level.
