Abstract

228
We try to describe the ways by which in Bécquer Rimas (I, IV y V) the poetical “I” perceives the world; to understand why it is necessary from that original solitude, that intimacy with nature and cosmos, to translate those very little pieces of that incomprehensible poetical matter; that it, solely, can be realized itself with the presence of woman and love. Becquer’s poetical works are actually ontological; we can find in them many traces of neoplatonism and panteism.
