Abstract

74
Several Polish artists and writers resident in France moved to Spain as a result of the First World War. Through collaborations in the magazine «Vltra» (1921-1922) oftwo of these Polish artists, Wladyslaw Jahl and Manan Paszkiewicz -and also of Tadeusz Peiper- this paper recuperates a little-known aspect in the first avant-garde in Spain. The close relationship between writers and artists in the «ultraist» movement (early avant-garde movement in Spain) is also pointed out.
