Abstract

82
Strictly, the libro de viajes (book of journeys) doesn’t exist in Spanish literature until half the 14th century, because trips obeyed to necessity. Tales about the journey’s object were made, but not about the journey itself, even though there is some journeys literature in which the journey’s object is an intrinsic component of the work and an essential part of it. The author distinguishes between deep journeys, fantastic journeys and the journey as a literary resource, with examples of Medieval Spanish Literature.
